Agnes Pauline (nee Jones), beloved wife of William B. Ward for 65 years, cherished mother of Patsy (Chuck) Johnson, Hank (Connie) Ward, Anita Ward and Stephen Ratliff, devoted grandmother of Stephanie (Aaron) Wood, Cara Meadows, Wyatt (Emily) Ward, Morgan Ward, Dylan (Andi) Davidson and Dale Ward, loving great-grandmother of Brook, Luke and Hugh Wood, Adrienne and Graham Wood, Ivan and Roman Meadows, and Lennox Margot Davidson. She is also the loving sister of Raymond Jones and the late Christopher Jones,Juanita Doan, and Lorrine Jones. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Agnes was born to the union of Charlie Ellis and Lettie Marie Jones on January 21, 1938 in Avondale, West Virginia. She graduated from Iaeger High School. She was a wonderful gardener and prided herself in a clean and tidy home. Taking that pride in cleanliness she became a professional house cleaner. She was the Queen of Doing Laundry. Her personal time was spent watching Family Feud and Jeopardy, two shows she didn’t want to miss. She was a proud grandmother and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as much as any grandmother could. She was quick with a funny line, joke, always being a barrel of laughs. She departed our lives on January 17th at the age of 81. The Ward family would like to thank all of you, our family and our friends, who have helped us cope in this very difficult time.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th from 10AM until the time of funeral service, 12Noon at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood. Entombment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
