Andrew R. “Andy” Young, beloved son of Mary (nee Brinker) and the late Robert Young, loving brother of Jeanne (William) Quillin, devoted uncle of Carson, Brady, and Elijah Quillin.
Andy was a 1991 graduate of Purcell Marian High School. He was an extremely gifted man with a mind for statistics. Because of his mind for statistics, he learned to thoroughly love horse racing and all the numeric intricacies that went along with this sport.
He was a huge fan of the National Hockey League, with the Toronto Maple Leafs being his favorite team. He also loved the Cincinnati Bengals and enjoyed watching them play whenever he could.
He was a loving and kind man. He had a standing lunch, once a week with his mother that he never missed. And he wanted his nephews to get a good education so that they could grow up to be successful men.
He was a dedicated employee of The Kroger Company for over 19 years.
Andy died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 14th at the age of 52.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 5th at 11AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 3105 Madison Rd. (45209) Oakley.
