Anne. Beloved wife of the late Forrest H. Longeway Jr., Loving mother of Forrest Longeway, Sharon O'Mara, Marjorie Longeway and the late Gaile Reider, dear grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 14. October 8, 2010. Age 88. Anne's love of animals was abounding, making the family home a formidable zoo. The family home was residence to a alligator named Elvis, numerous snakes brought home in pillow cases from the family farm, pet mice, tropical fish, birds, cats, dogs and horses. In addition to her love of family and animals she was a ardent gardener, knowing both common and botanical names of plants and flowers. She will be greatly missed for her "I did it my way" spirit by her family both 2 and 4 legged. Friends may call Monday October 11th at the Thomas-Justin Memorial 7500 Montgomery Rd. in Kenwood from 6pm until a memorial service at 7pm.
