Betty L., died in Bedford, NH on December 11, 2013 at the age of 88. Born in Cincinnati on July 26, 1925, she was the daughter of Willard and Gladys (nee Tingley) Meerse. She spent most of her life in Cincinnati, before moving to New Hampshire six years ago. She graduated from Milford High School and in her early years she worked at Procter and Gamble. Later she became the school secretary at Concord Elementary School in Kenwood. Mrs. Moore was a member and past president of the Kenwood Women's Club. She was active at Armstrong Chapel UMC. She also enjoyed golfing, gardening and playing bridge. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose family was the center of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles Lammerding, who died in 1995, as well as her husband of eight years, David Moore, who died in 2007. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Sandra Carter of Goffstown, NH and Bonnie Ricardelli of Dunstable, MA; sister Dorothy Reeve of Milford; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 19th at 11AM at Armstrong Chapel UMC, 5125 Drake Rd. (45243) Indian Hill. Burial will take place at Armstrong Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Armstrong Chapel UMC. Condolences may be shared with the family through our website, ThomasJustinMemorial.com.
