Betty Lou Vearil

Vearil, Betty L. (nee Clem), beloved wife of the late Wayne L. Vearil, cherished mother of Daryl Vearil, Keith (Sue) Vearil, Anne (Chris) Bastille and the late William “Bill” Vearil. Devoted Grandmother of Nikki (Rodger) Smith, Joy Vearil, Tirzah Hall, Benjamin (Sarah) Vearil, Jesse Vearil, Thea Naegele, Alex Vearil, Megan (Justin) Etheridge, Taylor (Lexi) Vearil, Nick Vearil, Dylan Vearil and Sami Vearil. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.

Betty was born in Winchester Kentucky in 1934 to the late William P. and Evelyn (nee Ball) Clem. She was sister to the late Patricia Hopewell, Geraldine “Gerri” Orr, and Geneva Moses.

Betty passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, June 6th at the age of 90.

Betty was a kind, gentle soul who loved God devotedly. She wasn’t just “Mom” to Daryl, Keith, Bill and Anne, she was “Mom” to everyone she met. She devoted her life to raising her children and supporting their interests which included but were not limited to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Marching Band.

She will be dearly missed by us all.

The family will welcome friends on Friday, June 14th from 4:00-8:00 pm at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd, Kenwood, Ohio 45236. A funeral will be held at the same location on Saturday, June 15th at 9:00 am. Internment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford Ohio.
