Betty Jane (nee McAvoy), beloved wife of the late Robert P. Wynne, cherished mother of Susie (Mike) Scharfenberger, Robert P. Wynne, Jr., Wendy Wynne and Tim Wynne, devoted grandmother of Matt and Geoff (Lisa) Scharfenberger and Kelly and Katey (Zach) Wynne. She is also survived by her brother, Richard (Betty) McAvoy, step-brother, Greg McAvoy, and many nieces and nephews, as well as a dear family friend, Wanda Cornell. She will also be missed by her faithful canine companion, Sadie. Passed away on February 14th at the age of 87. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, February 19th at 9:30AM at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 7630 Shawnee Run Rd., Cincinnati, OH (45243). Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Betty's caregivers that have supplied her with love and care for the last 8 years. Betty spent her time at her home in Indian Hill, Ohio, as well as her home on Manasota Key, Florida. She was an intricate part of the Wednesday Girls Night Out, or "Support Group" as the members called it, at Kenwood Country Club, where she was also a member of the Kenwood Golfers and Bowlers. Her absence will be felt by her numerous friends that she has left behind in both Ohio and Florida.
