Carol Ann (nee Volk), beloved wife for 57 years to the late Richard O’Donnel. Cherished mother of Janet, Linda, Barb, Tom (Erin), Bill, Nancy (Ken) Burris, and Mike (Sarah) O’Donnel. Devoted grandmother of Sean, Zack, Kasey, Carley, Andrew, Katy, Bridget, Jack, Kelly, Erin, Claire, Maggie, Lainey, and great-grandmother of Kaiden and Bailee.

Carol was a graduate of Regina High School in Norwood. She loved to bowl and met her husband Richard at a bowling alley. She was a Girl Scout leader, a member of the Madeira Women’s Club, and she was a lifelong member of St. Gertrude Parish. She enjoyed gardening, attending the theatre and the Cincinnati Zoo, playing Bridge, camping (where she would roast marshmallows for s’mores), walking and travelling. But most importantly, she thoroughly enjoyed raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren $1 at a time.

Carol passed away peacefully in her home on July 15th at the age of 85.

Friends are invited to visit with her family on Friday, July 21st from 12Noon until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 1PM, at St. Gertrude Parish, 6543 Miami Rd. (45243) Madeira.
