Carolyn S. Sears

Carolyn S. Sears (nee Cobbe), beloved wife of 58 years to the late Raymond L. Sears. Cherished mother of Tony (Deb) Sears. Devoted grandmother of Melanie (Frank) Welling, Jeremy (Angeline) Brewer, Miranda (David) Vaughn, Jacob (Amber) Sears, Troy (Stacey) Goslin, and Tara (the late Joseph) Philhower. Great-grandmother of Lucy and Clark Welling, Madison Brewer, Dejá, Brianna, and Aubrey Vaughn, Gabriel and Axel Sears, Caitlyn and Carter Philhower, Nyah Goslin and the late Breanna Goslin. Dear sister of George (Donna) Cobbe and the late Barbara Hoog.

Carolyn was born in Cincinnati in 1946, to the late John M. and Josephine (nee Parks) Cobbe. She worked for over 20 years at Whiting Textile Manufacturing, until it closed in 2004. It is at this time that she really started to do what she loved doing best, being a grandmother. She did everything for her grandchildren. She called each one on their birthdays and anniversaries. This is what she loved doing the most, being a wonderful grandmother.

Carolyn passed away on Saturday, June 27th at the age of 80.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, July 11th from 9AM until the time of the funeral service 10AM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
