BENNER
Charles Henry, loving husband of Mary K. (nee Kautz) Benner, devoted father of Susan Benner Gehrke and Dan and Jonathan Benner. Grandfather of Jennings Benner, Marieke-Lauren and Chloe Elisabeth Benner, Matthew and Joshua Gehrke. Professor Emeritus, College Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University. Died after a short illness on September 13, 2011 at the age of 99. Private burial ceremony with Military Honors will be followed by a memorial service on October 8th at 10:30 am at St Paul's Methodist Church in Madeira, 8221 Miami Rd. (45243). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the music ministry of the St. Paul's Community United Methodist Church.
