Charles R. Mccaw

Charles R. “Chuck” McCaw, beloved husband of Dorothy “Dot” (nee Wildt) McCaw, loving father of Michael (Candace) McCaw and Jeffrey (Shari) McCaw, devoted grandfather of Stephanie (Brian) Wetherington, Zachery McCaw, Jason (Emily) McCaw, Matthew (Layne) McCaw, and Amanda (Travis) Steele, and great-grandfather of 9.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Margaret C. (nee Bridges) McCaw, and his sister, Jean C. Shepherd.

He was a graduate of Norwood High School and went to serve in the US Army during the Korean War. He took over the family business, H&M Novelty, a vending leasing company, in 1962.

Chuck was a loving husband and father. He delighted in his grandchildren and was a proud great-grandfather. He was a successful business owner, not only because he had a good business mind, but more so because he had great business character. He was respected and trusted by those he worked with throughout his life. He will be missed by those whose lives he touched.

He passed away on October 18th at the age of 95.

The funeral services will be held privately.
