Curtis Robinson

Curtis J. "Curt" Robinson passed away March 29, 2014, from lung cancer. He was 68 years old. Curt is survived by Judy, his wife of 45 years; his children Brook (Bryan) Runyan, Heather Robinson (Scott) Lindsey, John (Andrea) Robinson, and Sarah Robinson; eight grandchildren ages one through thirteen years; his brothers Bill (Alice) and Gil (Kathy) Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Scully, whom he adopted from the SPCA. Preceded in death by parents Eleanore and William Robinson of Grand Haven, Michigan. Curt traveled the world with his wife. He was an amateur Egyptologist, fossil hunter, art collector and author. Curt was an avid Reds fans and a long-time baseball coach in the Kenwood Athletic Association. Curt loved reading and appreciated a good mystery. He was also a gifted storyteller, a talent he used to great effect conducting trainings around the United States and in multiple countries through the CJ Robinson Company, which he founded with Judy in 1984.


Visitation Wednesday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Road. Funeral services will begin at noon on Thursday, at the funeral home.


The family suggests donations be directed to the SPCA Cincinnati, 11900 Conrey Road Cincinnati, OH 45249.
