BROWN

Earl F., age 83, died on Saturday, April 29th at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash. He was the beloved husband of Lois Patterson Brown. He was the youngest of five children of Gladys and Roy Brown. He has one living sibling, sister Ruth Holdcroft, currently living in suburban Denver, CO. Two children, Neil S. (Margaret) Brown, living in suburban Philadelphia, PA, and Juliet Bisson, residing in Orlando, FL. H has four living grandchildren.  Mr. Brown spent most of his working career in the newspaper business.  His career included executive positions at The Cincinnati Post, The Akron Beacon Journal and The Baltimore Sun papers.  His long newspaper career was interrupted by his service in the US Army.  Mr. Brown was a proud Masonic Lodge member since 1957. He was also honored in 2010 by the Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago for his 50 year membership as a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite member. Pursuant to his wishes, there will be a visitation at Kenwood Country Club on Thursday, May 11th from 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
