Edna M. Bechtold

Edna “Babe” Bechtold (nee Distler), age 95, of Montgomery, Ohio, passed away on May 24, 2022, peacefully in her home. Loving wife of the late Albert James Bechtold, Jr. Beloved daughter of the late Judge and Edna (Fischer) Distler. Sister of late June (Carl) Bader. Cherished mother of Diane Bechtold, Jim (Kathy) Bechtold, Mark (Wanda) Bechtold, and Kathleen (Terry) Long. Devoted grandmother of Kara, Christopher, Gregory, Stephanie (Brian), and Andrew. Loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Edna was devoted to her family. She loved hosting dinners and holidays, creating a strong bond amongst the family. Edna was an avid fan of Notre Dame, Xavier, the Reds, and the Bengals.

Special thanks to Hospice and Visiting Angels, particularly Robin, for providing excellent care to Edna and the family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7th from 9:30AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Parish, 7754 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
