Edward Sheets

Edward Donald "Don" Sheets, was the beloved husband of Shirley (nee Cooley) Sheets, devoted father of Don (Wendi) Sheets, Donna (Michael) Ruiz and David Sheets, loving son of the late John and Eleanor Sheets, awesome grandfather of Caroline Sheets, Nick Sheets, Elysia Ruiz, Benjamin Ruiz, Autumn Harris, Abigail Sheets, Adelaide Sheets, and great-grandfather to Honor Harris. Several weeks before his 80th birthday, Don passed away October 8, 2013 peacefully with his dear Shirley by his side and into the loving arms of the Lord. Don loved baseball and was Western Hills Varsity player and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds Farm Team; but his military service began where he became a Specialist Third Class and was a high security cryptologist for the United States Army, stationed in Europe. Back home, Don began working at GE Aircraft where he met the love of his life and married his Shirley and shared a wonderful 53 years together. Don went on to own a highly successful nationwide talent agency in which he made his career. Don was also known for his love for golf; the Oasis Golf Club of Loveland has a tribute for Don on the range. Don will be missed dearly by family and friends, "Only goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for years to come", Psalm Chapter 23: The Lord is My Shepherd. Visitation will be held October 11, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian at 11:30 a.m. at St. Margaret of York Church, 9495 Columbia Rd., Loveland.
