Betty

Beloved wife of Thomas D. Thaman, who just celebrated 60 beautiful years in July.

She was a cherished mother of Thomas A. (Cathy), David J. (Shannon), Mark F. (Stephanie, and Joseph C. (Rachel) Thaman.

Devoted grandmother of Nicholas F., Colin J., Claire E., Elijah T., Lucy ME., Cecilia L., and George R. Thaman

Betty was born in Cincinnati in 1943 to the late Francis J. and Clara T. (nee Uhl) Reinhart. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a major in Political Science. She spent her career teaching Senior AP curriculum to the wonderful young ladies at Ursuline Academy. She had a 35-year career there until her retirement in 2018.

Her life’s journey included her husband, children, daughters- in-law, grandchildren, students, and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed her life, centered around her family and their activities of every sort. She was a truly gracious companion and friend.

Betty will be remembered as an endearing wife, mother, daughter, teacher, companion and friend.

Betty’s family will receive friends on Thursday, October 8th from 10AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11AM at St. Cecilia Church, 3105 Madison Rd. (45209) Oakley. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in St. Bernard. A continued celebration of what Betty meant to us will follow the interment at her home. Friends and family are welcome.
