Eugene H. Viers

October 25, 1932 — July 24, 2018

Eugene Howard Viers, age 85, of Clermont County, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2018.


The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 26th, from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral service, 1PM at the Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236 (Kenwood). Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 1 PM. The burial will immediately follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.


Eugene Viers was born in Paris, Kentucky on October 25, 1932. He graduated from Withrow High School and continued his education through glazing apprenticeships.


Eugene was married to Betty Jane Snyder for 37 years


Eugene worked as a glazer for Eastern Hills Glass and Glazing for approximately 38 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Warand served in the United States Army in Fort Knox, Kentucky.


He enjoyed life in general, loved playing golf and tennis, and was an avid private pilot. In prior years, he volunteered at the South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center, Florida. He had attended religious services at the Sun City Center United Methodist Church and the Anderson Hills United Methodist Church.


Eugene is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Viers, son, Brett Viers, daughter, Rhonda (Larry) Swadner, step-daughter, Pam (Charlie) Terrell, and grandchildren, Josh Terrell, Stephanie Terrell, Lindsey Swadner, and Zachary Swadner.
