Evelyn “Joy” Plummer

Evelyn Joy Plummer (nèe Rise), age 86, passed peacefully with loved ones by her side on the evening of December 9, 2024.

Joy, as she preferred to be called, grew up in Blanchester, Ohio and graduated valedictorian from Blanchester High School. Joy loved to play and watch tennis all her life. She was the epicenter of energy of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Richard Plummer; her four children, Brian Plummer, Craig (Pam) Plummer, Mark (Linda) Plummer, Alison Plummer; and grandsons Brenton and Andrew Plummer.

Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 1:00PM at St. Gertrude Parish, 6534 Miami Ave. (45243) Madeira.

Interment will immediately follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Rd. (45242) Blue Ash.
