Frank Von Holle Md

Frank E. Von Holle, MD, born October 19, 1924 in Cincinnati, OH, to Frank and Carolyn Von Holle. He died on January 6, 2015 at the age of 90. He married Phyllis Wahoff on June 9, 1951 and was married for 63 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in WWII in the South Pacific. He served from 1942-1946. He was preceded in death by his son Tom, brothers Robert and Howard and sisters Carol and Helen. He is survived by his wife Phyllis; sons Robert, James (Susan) and Charles (Lisa) Von Holle; his sister Norma; brothers Paul and William; grandchildren, Laura, Julie, Matthew, Neil, Allison, Elizabeth and Christopher and great- granddaughter, Emma. Dr. Von Holle graduated from Elder High School, Xavier University and The University of Cincinnati Medical School. He had a medical practice in Deer Park for 40 years and Volunteers of Medicine in Hilton Head, SC for 12 years. He was a member of the American Medical Association, Cincinnati Academy of Medicine, American Academy of Family Practice, Knights of Columbus, Catholic Order of Foresters, All Saints Parish and Maketewah Country Club. Donations may be made in his name to the charity of your choice or to the Guide Dogs for the Blind, PO Box 151200, San Rafael, CA (94915-1200). Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th from 9:30AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM at All Saints Parish, 8939 Montgomery Rd. (45236).
