Frank F. Kallmeyer , beloved husband, father and grandfather passed peacefully on January 6th. Born in Cincinnati on August 24th, 1933, Frank graduated from Purcell High School, then served two years in the Army. Upon his return, he attended University of Cincinnati, earning a degree in Accounting. Frank’s entire career was with the US General Accounting Office. In 1961 he married his wife, Kathy and they were the parents of four children.

After retiring from GAO, he and Kathy bought and sold antiques at local malls. Frank was an avid golfer, spending many enjoyable hours on the courses with friends and his sons. He loved horse racing, visiting many tracks around the country. Also, he was a “fair weather” fan of the Reds and Bengals. Frank served his community of Pleasant Ridge, mostly by picking up and delivering food for a few local food pantries, continuing this until the last few months of his life.

Frank had the ability to come up with a quote for any occasion. When the children asked for allowance, he responded with “You have three hots and a cot!” ……end of discussion. For someone having a rough day, his encouraging words were “The sun don’t shine on the same dogs a** every day!” He was generous with his time and money, always available to help friends and family.

Frank is survived by Kathy, his wife of 64 years, his children, Jeanne (David), John (Nora), Dave (Maria), Michael (Jill), and grandchildren, Jessica, Katie (Amit), Anna, Frank, Olivia, Schuyler and Gwen, Lizzie and Emily.

Donations in Frank’s memory can be made to Mercy Neighborhood Ministries, 1602 Madison Rd. Cincinnati, O, 45206 or The Caring Place, 5950 Montgomery Rd. 45213.
