June 17, 1928 — April 28, 2016
BOOKMAN
Raymond E. “Gene”, beloved husband of 65 years to the late Margaret “Peggy” Bookman (nee Andrews), beloved father of Steve (Kristine) Bookman and Becky (Jeff) Zackerman, loving grandpa of Katie and Caroline Zackerman. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28th at the age of 87. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1st from 1PM until the time of blessing at 2:45pm at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Interment will take place on Monday at Forest Rose Cemetery in Lancaster, OH. Gene was a long time employee of Merrell Dow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5433 Madison Rd. (45227).
