Geraldine "Gerry" England

April 21, 1931 — March 22, 2021

Geraldine (nee Brogan) England, “Gerry”, born on April 21, 1931 in Tennessee peacefully passed at the age of 89 on March 22, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.


She was preceded in death by her husband James Austin England, her son Stephen England and his twin, Susan who passed shortly after birth. Gerry is survived by granddaughter Tiffany Emerson (Allan), great grandchildren Brooklynn, Benjamin, William, Lucas, and Carter all whom she greatly adored.


Gerry held various jobs in the service industry after returning to work after many years of being a homemaker while raising her son. She loved to keep busy and was passionate about helping others. She officially retired from work in 2012 at the age of 79.


Gerry’s nurturing, kind heart will be remembered by all those she had encountered. She was commonly referred to as “Granny”. She loved children and received much joy in their presence. Granny loved sewing and doing crossword puzzles in her free time.


The family invites friends to visit with them on Tuesday, March 30th from 9AM until the time of the funeral service, 10AM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery R. (45236).
