Gladys Vollman

Gladys (nee Meek), passed away on April 12, 2016 at the age of 96. She has now joined her husband, Leo Vollman, and son John Vollman in heaven. Gladys married Leo Vollman in 1946 in Norwood, Ohio and they had eight children. Gladys was proud of her 8 children; her 2 daughters; Judy Nural, Mary Sand, and her 5 sons; William, Thomas, Robert, Richard, and Timothy, 23 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. But her family was only part of Mom’s legacy. She was caring and determined throughout her life, and provided a great role model for persistence and toughness through the most difficult times. Gladys was also quite spunky; known for incredible exercise routines and remained active until her final days. A memorial service will take place on May 2 at 10:00 am. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Rd. (45249).
