KREUZMAN
Henry B., 96, passed away in his Indian Hill home on March 3, 2017. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 69 years, Dorothy Ruth (nee Lindner); his five children Deborah Gladstone (Stephen), Denise Lorenz (David), Dianne Hill (Mark), Henry B. Kreuzman III (Mary Jo), and Joseph L. Kreuzman (Molly); his fourteen grandchildren, Margaret Gladstone Horvath (Timothy), Caroline Gladstone, Patrick Gladstone, Theresa Gladstone, Anna Lorenz O’Neill (Brian), Amy Lorenz Smith (William), Jessie Lorenz DeFreeuw (Eric), Kara Lorenz, Matthew Hill (Elizabeth), Alexandra Hill Moeller (Ryan), Nicole Hill, David Kreuzman, Drew Kreuzman, and Rebecca Kreuzman; and 6 great grandchildren (with two more on the way). He was the loving son of the late Henry B. Kreuzman and Dora Kreuzman (nee Pfeffer) and the beloved brother of Patricia Fritz (Edward, deceased), Mary Ellen Koehne (Robert, deceased), the late Dorothea Strobel (John, also deceased), and Caroline Cameron (Bruce, also deceased). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Henry (“Hank”) was a proud graduate of Purcell High School. With the break out of World War II, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps and became a highly decorated fighter pilot while serving in the 159th fighter group and flying his P-51 in dozens of missions over Europe. Following the war, he worked in the trucking industry before becoming a successful restaurant owner (Sugar ‘n Spice and La Rue). Hank was an active member in numerous organizations, a devoted parishioner at St. Gertrude Church, and maintained a life membership in the Knights of Columbus. Following his retirement, he became an avid golfer, while remaining, as he had been his entire life, a generous benefactor to numerous Cincinnati institutions and charities. Visitation will be noon Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at St. Gertrude Church, 6543 Miami Ave., Madeira, Ohio 45243, followed by the funeral Mass at 1:00 pm and internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Soup Kitchen at St. Francis Seraph Ministries (1615 Republic Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 [sfsministries.org]) or Anna Louise Inn (2401 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 [cinunionbethel.org])
