Ida Loraine (nee Stoll), beloved wife of the late Elmer J. Gates, cherished mother of James Gates, Christopher (Roseanne) Gates, Gina (Larry) Rovito, Greg (Judie) Gates, Rebecca (Tom) Schneider, Karen (Tim) Lynskey, Tony (Bev) Gates, daughter-in-law, Judy Gates and the late Ken (Janet) Gates, and Mary (Dr. Steven) Ripperger. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren and 69 great-grandchildren.  Passed away on Wednesday, June 27th at the age of 99.  Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2nd from 8:30AM until the time of Rosary, 10AM until the time of Requiem High Mass, 10:30AM at St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church, 4900 Rialto Way, West Chester (45069).  Mrs. Gates leaves behind many friends that she made while she was a resident at Mercy St. Theresa in Mariemont, The Lodge Care Center in Loveland, and Otterbein in Maineville.  Her family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of The Lodge Care Center for taking care of her for so many years.  They would also like to thank the staff of Otterbein in Maineville, as well, for the attention they have showed Mrs. Gates. She will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Otterbein Maineville, 201 Marger Schott Way, Mainville, OH (45039)..
