James R. , beloved husband of Marion (nee Petersen), loving of James Petersen Cobb (Eleanor), Paul Christian Cobb (Susan), Marion Cobb Molski (Jeffrey) and the late Louis Cobb Stone (John), special grandfather of Will, Maggie, James, Henry, Ali, Joe, Mari Kate, Drew and Rachel. January 17, 2014. Age 87. Member of Rotary International for over 50 years where he was Rotarian of the year in 2005, taught through Junior Achievement, former President of Freedoms Foundation Cincinnati Chapter, active member of Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church and very active in volunteerism throughout his community. A visitation for residents, associates and friends at Twin Lakes Retirement Community will be Friday January 24, 2014 from 10AM until the time of memorial service at 11am at the Chapel at Twin Lakes Retirement Community, 9840 Montgomery Rd. (45249). A memorial service for other family, friends and colleagues will be held at 2PM on Friday at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church, 5125 Drake Rd. (45243) Indian Hill. The family will greet friends following the memorial service at Armstrong Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to The Benevolent Fund of Twin Lakes, or The Armstrong Chapel Chancel Choir.
