James R. Scherrer

May 15, 1951 — September 19, 2024

James R. Scherrer, loving brother of Robert L. Scherrer, Jr. and Joseph R. Scherrer, devoted son of the late Robert L. and Marcella M. (nee Ahern) Scherrer, Sr., and nephew of Daniel Ahern. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Jim was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and worked throughout his life as a programmer at Formica, Cincinnati Milicron and XTek.

He was a fan of sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals and Xavier University.

Jim passed away on September 19th at the age of 73.

His family will receive friends on Friday, September 27th from 12PM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial, 1PM at St. Gertrude Parish, 6543 Miami Ave. (45243) Madeira. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemtery.
