James A. Scott

James Allen “Scotty” Scott was the loving husband of the late Edna (nee Thompson) Scott. He was one of ten children born to the late John D. Scott and Iolene (nee Davenport) Scott. He is survived by his brother George Scott, of Independence, Kentucky, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and two very loving friends, Mike and Debbie Green.

Scotty was a former employee of A&P Grocery and Gibson Greetings Cards. He also owned a lawn care business with his best friend Mike Green.  He was mowing lawns up until the day of his passing on October 30th. He was 88 years old. 

Friends are welcome to visit with his family on November 5th from 11AM until the time of the funeral service, 12noon at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood.  Interment will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife.
