Jane Z Griffith

Jane Z. Griffith, 80, passed away peacefully at Twin Lakes Senior Living Community on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was surrounded by her friends, family, and husband of 59 years, Charles S. Griffith Jr.

Jane was born on February 13, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in the neighborhood of Roselawn. A graduate of Walnut Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati, she dedicated her professional career to caring for others, as a registered nurse, beginning in Kettering Medical Center’s Emergency Room in 1976 and retiring from the OB-GYN practice of Dr. Bruce Allen, MD, in 2005.

Jane was a wonderful mother to Charles (Shannon) Griffith and Deborah (Tim) Caudle, devoted grandmother to Charlie, Cade, Audrey, McKenna and Riley, and adoring pet parent to her Cavachon, Teddy. She doted on her family and was happiest when surrounded by her large brood. She hosted Wednesday-night dinners almost every week, where her family feasted on fried chicken and laughed for hours about the “good-old days.”

Her family will receive friends on April 1st at 11 am until the time of the service at noon at the Thomas Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd., (45236) Kenwood.
