JoAnn L. (nee Breslin), beloved wife of 39 years of the late Robert Kolkmeyer, cherished mother of Mary (Fred) Schumacher, Bob (Carolyn) Kolkmeyer, Betty (Edwin) Stenger, Linda (Tom) Burns, Tim (Monique) Kolkmeyer, Mike (Laurie) Kolkmeyer, Sue (Tony) Misleh, and Chris (Dave) Ernst.


Devoted grandmother of Steve (Theresa) Schumacher and Sarah (Jeff) Belin, Kate-(Erik) Ziedses des Plantes, Ann, (Andrew) Favia, Melissa (Nicholas Temming) Stenger, Matthew (Stephanie) Stenger, and Lauren (Stanley Evans) Stenger, Michelle (Eric) Ridder and Melanie (Nick) Payne, Jessica K. (John) Rhodes and Maura B. Kolkmeyer, Andrew, Lane, Claire and Nicholas Kolkmeyer, Rosalie, Luke, Dean Misleh, Evan, Emily, and Eli Ernst.


Great-grandmother of James Belin, Nora and Lily Ziedses des Plantes, and Aldo Favia, Avery, Dylan, Ansley, Caroline, Peyton, and Eloise, Adyson and Carson Ridder and Connor Payne, Fischer W. Rhodes and one great-granddaughter on the way.


Loving daughter of the late William and Loretta Breslin and sister of the late Bill Breslin, Jeanne Wiehe, and Jim Breslin.


As the mother of eight children, she was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She went to all of the ball games of her children, and grandchildren, and loved to go to Cincinnati Reds and Bengals games as well. She was a Rosie Red and "dressed" for every game.

JoAnn was dedicated to her faith and to Christ. She made friends easily kept every friend she made. JoAnn loved life and enjoyed learning new things. She was always there to give good advice and to help those in need.


JoAnn passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on July 11th at the age of 92.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17th from 9:00AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 11144 Spinner Ave. (45241). Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in JoAnn’s name to Franciscan Friars of St. John the Baptist Province, 1615 Vine St., Suite 2 (45202).
