Joanne K. loving and devoted wife of 53 years to James D. Hodde, mother of James D. (Karen) Hodde, Jr., grandmother of Matthew (Grace) Capt. USAF Hodde and Andrea Hodde. Daughter of the late J. Warren Kinney, Jr. and Olive W. Kinney. Passed away on August 6th at the age of 75. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th from 9:30-11AM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Immediately following, the family will process to a committal service will be held at the Lakeside Mausoleum at Spring Grove Cemetery. Joanne and Jim experienced an enchanted evening following the Army-Navy game of 1959 and were married on June 17, 1961. She was first a Navy wife, then the manager of her father's law office, and for 30 years the president of Diamond Aluminum Company. She was also a fabulous cook and a talented seamstress and cross stitch artist. The family wishes to thank the staff of Carriage Court of Kenwood for all the TLC lavished on Joanne over the last 2 ½ years. Please wear Joanne's favorite color, red, to the visitation. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in Joanne's memory to The Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn St. (45203), Vitas Hospice, 11500 Northlake Dr. #400 (45249) or the SPCA, 3949 Colerain Ave. (45223).
