John Bryan Buhrlage, born September 21, 1960 and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on October 29, 2025. He was a longtime resident of Mason, Ohio.
Bryan was the beloved son of the late John and Janet (Gross) Buhrlage, and the devoted brother of Barbara (Daniel T) Hill. He was a proud uncle to his nephew, Matthew J Hill, and was preceded in death by his nephew, Daniel T. Hill Jr. He is also survived by his uncle, Stanley D. Edgemon, along with several cousins and many dear friends who will deeply miss him.
A graduate of Madeira High School class of 1979 , Bryan went on to attend Xavier University, where he nurtured his curiosity and love of learning. He was a passionate ham (amateur) radio operator and spent many years working as a dispatcher in Madeira, where his dedication, steady presence, and strong work ethic earned the respect of everyone around him.
Brian’s vision never defined him; he faced every challenge with courage and never let it hold him back from doing what he loved.
Bryan had a creative spirit and a love for all things technical. He found joy in music, art, and spending time on his computer — always exploring, creating, or learning something new. His interests reflected his thoughtful nature and his unique way of seeing the world.
Bryan never met a person who didn’t become a friend. He will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and kind heart. He faced life’s challenges with quiet courage and was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a smile.
