John Joseph "Jack" Eschmeyer

ESCHMEYER


John Joseph (Jack) Eschmeyer beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth (nee Dollenmayer) for 73 years, devoted father of Mary Jo Rickling (Bob), Chuck Eschmeyer (Gail), Kathleen Benken (Michael), Karen Muthler (Dave), Cynthia Steimle (Larry), Duane Eschmeyer (Maureen), Janis Becksmith, Julie Trischler(Rick) and Jeanne Wahl (Gerry) passed into Heaven on November 10th, surrounded by family and his wife Mary. He was preceded in death by sons Mathias and Frederic (Fritz) Eschmeyer, as well as his parents and siblings. John, also known as Jack, Dad, Daddy and Big Daddy was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa. Hewas a devout Catholic and was especially fond of the Blessed Virgin Mary. John was an avid gardener and loved sharing the bounty of his garden with others. He loved taking the kids fishing and coaching girls softball with his brother Mel.


Twenty-six grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren enjoyed spending time with him. John was 93.


The family will welcome friends at his parish, St Mary’sCatholic Church in Arnheim, (6647 Van Buren St., 45121)from 10:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am on Tuesday, 11/14. A light lunch will follow Mass in St. Mary Hall. All are welcome.


A private internment will be at Gate of Heaven. The family asks that donations be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center, P.O. Box 136, Georgetown, OH 45121 or to St. Michael’s Catholic School, 300 Market Street, Ripley, Oh.,45167.
