John R. "Butch" Pletz, Jr.

John “Butch” Robert Pletz, Jr., son of the late Dorothy and John Pletz, Sr., beloved husband of Judy (nee Judd), devoted step-father of Keith (Jennifer) Cowell and Kelly (Mike) Putt, devoted paw-paw of Kelsey Cowell, Kaleb Cowell, Trinity Putt, and Josh Cowell. Loving brother of Richard, Donald, Carol, Joann, and the late Linda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Pletz was an Army veteran that served in Vietnam. He passed away on Friday, July 24th at the age of 73. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27th from 4-6PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Funeral service will be held at the funeral home the following day, Tuesday, July 28th at 11AM. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to either Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597 (45263-3597) or The American Cancer Society, 4540 Cooper Rd. (45242).
