John H., beloved husband of Shirley(nee Ackermann) and the late Gretchen(nee Nordhaus), cherished father of John (Julie), Michael, Megan (Dan) Fischer, Jerry (Maria), Marty (Jill), Tim, Tricia (Bob) Wilson, and the late Matthew and Andrew Schaefer. Step-father of Tom (Paula) Heinold, Patty (Tom) Steele, Lynn (Pat) Mulroy, Bill (Cheryl) Heinold, and Kathy (Mark) Johnston. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers Phil (Pat), Steve (Lynn), James (Dixie) Schaefer, and sister Margaret Schaefer and daughter-in-law Lorene Schaefer. November 17, 2010. Age 80. Friends may call Saturday November 20th from 12noon until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm at Good Shepherd Catholic Church 8815 E. Kemper Rd.
