Joseph A. Sligar, Jr.

Was born in California and raised in Ohio to Joseph, Sr. and Anita (neeHuffstutler) Sligar.  He passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The kind of guy who just wanted to make people laugh. Would strike up a conversation with just about anyone who would converse back. Was a friendly, honest, kind man. He had a love for Harley Davidson and old school rock music like Ozzy and Queen. Which he would blast while driving like a nascar driver or off-roader.

Was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Doris and Dora Sligar

He leaves behind a wife, Robin Bailey Sligar of Fort Wayne, IN and two children, Jasmin Sligar of Gratis, OH and Joey Sligar of Fort Wayne, IN. Also a grandchild, Roselyn Middaugh, as well as several nephews and one niece.
