Mark W. Gerhardt

August 27, 1957 — September 20, 2023

Mark Wilson, beloved husband of Jennifer L (nee Brader) Gerhardt, devoted father of Taylor L Gerhardt, loving brother of Jennifer (Barry) Gerhardt, Gary (Winnie) Gerhardt, Beth (Bob) Clark, Jessica (Peter) Sackett, and Eric (Marty) Gerhardt and loving Uncle to 17 nieces and nephews. Son of the late Rodgers "Rodg" and Sara (nee Wilson) Gerhardt.

After graduating from Cincinnati State, Mark started a career in the cable television business which would take him to various states to live. He moved to Petoskey, MI, Bloomington, IL, Milwaukee, WI, Gulf Shores, AL, Columbus, OH, Chillicothe, OH before finally coming back to Cincinnati to be with his family. After retiring from cable television he pursued a second career as a real estate investor where he rehabbed homes, duplexes, apartments, and condos. Mark could fix anything and everything and if he couldn't he would find someone by driving around looking for work trucks and would stop and ask if they would be interested in a side job. These people always became his friends and he would recommend them to everyone.

Mark's third and final career started when he met his wife at the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion in January, were engaged in April, and married by October the same year and became a dad to Taylor in 2009.

Mark loved all sports but especially his Ohio State Buckeye football team. When he wasn't watching football he was a golfer, played cornhole, softball, sand volleyball, and darts. Later in life you could find him riding roller coasters, bumping volleyballs and having water pistol fights with his daughter.

If you knew Mark you knew he had a passion for helping others and a heart of gold.

Mark passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at the age of 66, after a 4-year battle with Alzheimer's disease.

The family would like to invite friends to visit with them on Tuesday, September 26th from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service, 2 pm, at Thomas Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Road, (45236) Kenwood. His favorite color was orange, so feel free to wear something orange to honor Mark.
