Mary Loue Philpot Mardis “Wawa” was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Robert and Dorothy (nee Dance) Philpot. Mary Loue graduated from Oak Hills High School in 1975. During which time she met and married her best friend and the love of her life, Jack, on September 13, 1980.
Wawa was the cherished mother of Scarlett Lucinda, and an endlessly devoted grandmother to Lucas and Paxton Bardo.
She was the sister of Brandon Philpot and the late Robby Philpot, as well as the loving niece of Jewell Longabaugh.
She is survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mary Loue was a passionate shopper who could easily be found cooking in her kitchen, reading on her back porch or playing cards.
On Thursday, February 6th, at only 68 years old, God called her to be with him. The emptiness left behind by her departure is felt by everyone who knew her.
A visitation for Mary Loue will be held on Thursday, February 13th from 9:30AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30AM at St. Joseph North Bend, 25 E. Harrison Ave., North Bend, OH (45052). Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery on West 8th Street in Price Hill.
