WWII Rummler, Mary (nee Larew)
Beloved wife of the late Ernest E. Rummler, loving mother of Margaret "Peg" Rummler, Ernie (Karen) Rummler and Mark (Susan) Rummler, dear grandmother of Emily (Justin) Conger, E. Adam Rummler, Michael Rummler and Marcie Rummler, great-grandmother of Olivia Ruth and John Alexander Conger, beloved daughter of the late Samuel H. and Leola T. Larew, beloved sister to Samuel H. Larew, Jr. (Jin) and the late Ruth May (Charlie), Francis "Pete" Larew (Annabelle), and many nieces and nephews. Mary graduated from Jefferson Hospital School of Nursing in Roanoke, Virginia and served as a nurse in WWII attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant. She and her husband met while both serving in the US Army in France. June 3, 2010, age 88. Friends may call at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 7754 Montgomery Rd, in Kenwood, Monday, June 7 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Family asks, in lieu of flowers, memorials please be made to Good Samaritan College of Nursing. c/o Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, 375 Dixmyth Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45220.
