Annie

Mary Ann “Annie” Wittrock (nee Partusch), born February 27, 1955 to the late William and Bernice (nee Pohlman) Partusch. Annie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul Wittrock; sister, Jeanie (Ken) Jonas; 3 children: Tony (Deb) Wittrock, Becky (Bob) DeCaro, Stephanie (Joel) James and 8 grandchildren: Austin, Abby, Morgan, Luke, Emma, Mason, Olivia and Eli.

Annie was raised in Madison Place and Madeira where she enjoyed playing with the neighborhood kids as a child. In late 1973, Annie met Paul, the love of her life and they were married in 1976 and moved into their home in Fairfax, which was built by her maternal grandparents. Annie and Paul made countless memories renovating this home and making it into their warm and inviting home where all were welcome.

Annie was a devoted Wife, Mom and Grandma who loved being with family and spending time volunteering at St. Margaret of Cortona and the Village of Fairfax where she and Paul were awarded citizens of the year in 2009. Her love of art inspired many, from her painting, sewing, crafting and most of all her beloved ceramics. She also enjoyed baking, gardening, walking the neighborhood and listening to Marty and Joe discuss the Reds successes and failures. Her passion for life and the arts were passed down, and will live on, through her children and grandchildren.

Annie never met a soul she couldn’t connect with and talk to for hours on end. Always bringing enough sunshine into their lives to give them a little suntan, even on a cloudy day. 

The family would like to invite guests to celebrate her life during visitation this Saturday, December 6th from 9-11AM with a brief service at 11AM at Thomas- Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood.  

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Annie’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Hospice of Cincinnati, or Margaret’s Heart Senior Day Center,      651 Old State Route 74 (45245).
