Michael C. Barnard

Michael “Mike” Christian Barnard, aged 43, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away suddenly on Monday, July 7, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend.

Michael was born June 19,1982 in Lubbock, TX but grew up in Cincinnati, OH and attended St. Ursula Villa and Summit Country Day School where he developed lifelong friendships and memories. He later obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.

He grew up with a deep love for the outdoors and was never happier than when he was skiing down a mountain on a bluebird day or walking down a fairway. His laughter was contagious, his spirit generous, and his loyalty unmatched. His love for trivial pursuit, aviation, O.A.R. and The Ohio State University will live on in our memories.

Mike is survived by his parents, Michael and Mary Ann Barnard, his sister, Catherine McManus, and brother, David Barnard. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jordan Hoenscheid,

Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Saturday, July 26th from 8:45AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial, 10AM at Community of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd. (45249) Montgomery.
