Beloved son of the late John H. and Gretchen Schaefer, loving step-son of Shirley Schaefer, dear brother of John (Julie) Schaefer, Megan (Dan) Fischer, Jerry (Maria) Schaefer, Marty (Jill) Schaefer, Tim Schaefer, Tricia (Bob) Wilson and the late Matthew Schaefer, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
