Paul F. Luehrmann, Sr.

Paul Frank Luehrmann Sr. passed away peacefully on January 15th at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash at the age of 92.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Luehrmann (nee Staab). They were married for 66 years, and he is survived by all 6 of their children: Lisa Luehrmann, Paul Luehrmann (Donna), Mark Luehrmann (Monica), Rachel Luehrmann (Lazaros), Greg Luehrmann (Becky), and Kristi Crawford (Bill). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry & Marie Luehrmann and siblings, Grace Nugent, Dorothy Behan, Henry Luehrmann, Henrietta Brier, Rev. Stanley Luehrmann and Joseph (Pat) Luehrmann. He is survived by brothers Bill and Gene Luehrmann.

Paul was born on December 20th, 1933. He graduated from Purcell High School and the University of Cincinnati, College of Pharmacy. He served as a medic in the Army at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas. After he got out of the Army, he married his sweetheart and they relocated to El Paso, Texas and began their family.

He began his professional career as a Pharmacist in El Paso, Texas and owned Westgate Pharmacy for 15 years. The family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1974 where he owned Luehrmann Pharmacy in Mt. Washington until his retirement in 1998. His work ethic was a model to all, especially his children.

Paul was well fortified in the sacraments, attending mass every Sunday and throughout the week as was able. His strong demonstration of faith was an inspiration to many.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21st from 4PM until the time of spoken remembrances at 6PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be said on Thursday, January 22nd at 10AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 5890 Buckwheat Rd. (45150) Milford.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
