Ray passed away on July 14th at the age of 86. Ray was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was preceded in death by his parents Martha and Franklin Lynch. Ray was so proud of his time spent in the US Air Force always wearing his hat wherever he went. He retired from AT&T as a warehouse manager. After retirement he and his sweetie of 38 years, Ruth Anne, spent their time traveling to Ireland, Hawaii, and many other places. They spent many years enjoying winter time in Florida.
Ray was an avid sports guy with a great sense of humor. He was a diehard Browns fan. He spent many Sundays yelling at the TV. He loved watching the Cincinnati Reds. But Ray mostly enjoyed spending time around his family. It made him so happy to see grandchildren and traveling to all their sports events. It put so many smiles on his face being around the great grandchildren too. He loved his family time! When he wasn’t with family, he and his sweetie watched all the great western and classic movies, over and over. He loved his siblings deeply and was known to them as Ray Ray.
The family invites friends to visit with them on Wednesday, July 19th from 11AM until the time of the funeral service, 1PM at Thomas-Justin Funeral Home, 4418 Whetsel Ave. (45227) Madisonville. Interment will follow at Laurel Cemetery in Madisonville.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Ray’s name to the charity of your choosing.
