Richard Gerwel

Richard D. "Rick", cherished husband of Karen (nee Pfeiffer), devoted father of Marc (Shelly) Gerwel, Megan (James) Forbis, Jason (Jill) Gerwel and Bethany (Adrian) Guzman, loving grandfather of Brandon, Zachary and Nicholas Gerwel, Catherine, Ian, Colin and Tyler Forbis, Karli and Riley Gerwel and Adrian Gerwel, dear brother of Bernard (Cathy) Gerwel and the late Bob Gerwel. Passed away on Friday, August 17th at the age of 68. A visitation will be held at St. Gertrude Parish Center, 7630 Shawnee Run Rd. (45243) on Thursday, August 23th from 11AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 1PM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Rick was a member of St. Gertrude Catholic Church for over 25 years where he was also involved as a sports booster. Additionally he was a member of the Parks and Recreation Association of Madeira.
