Rita Adele. (nee Gallo). Age 95. Born in Columbus, Ohio to Oreste and Hazel Gallo. Beloved wife of the late Roderick MacEachen. Devoted mother of Mary Carol, Rod, Kathy, Bill, Patty, Joanie, and Scott. Loving grandmother to 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, sister Norma Antenucci and brothers Paul and Joe. Loving sister to Bo and Bob Gallo. Besides raising her family, Rita worked at both Woodward and Walnut Hills High Schools for many years.  She was a fantastic Italian cook and was known to make the best meatballs in the world.  Passed away on January 6.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday January 10, 2016, 10:30am, at St. Vincent Ferrer , 7754 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 2151, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, Tn. 38101-2151 or stjude.org .
