Ruth A. Pierce

Ruth A. (nee Siciliano) Pierce, formerly Sr. Vincent Marie, SND, was a devoted wife to the late Glenn Pierce, the beloved daughter of the late James and Hedwig Siciliano, and the loving sister of Teresa Buhrlage, the late James, Jr., Louis, and Albert Siciliano and the late Mary Bowles. Cherished aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a graduate of the University of Dayton, having earned a master’s degree in education. She taught in the Archdiocesan of Cincinnati for many years and was a Sister of Notre Dame De Namur for 15 years.

Ruth had a great wit and sense of humor and was steadfast in her commitment to her faith and shared her love of God with others. As Ruth would say, “God is good”.

Ruth went home to be with her Lord on September 20th, 2024, at the age of 91.

Ruth’s family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26th from 10AM until the time of the prayer service 10:45AM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood. Interment will be held at 12PM at St. Joe New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Rd. (45238) Price Hill.
