Stephen P. Schlegel

Stephen “Steve” P. Schlegel of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, the 28th of September 2023. Steve was a forever loyal graduate of Archbishop Moeller High School, followed by the University of Cincinnati.

Those who knew him, knew that he was a big guy, with a big brain, even bigger opinions but most of all his big heart. Steve loved his family, friends and pets fiercely, especially his Nakeeta.

Steve is survived by his parents, Jack and Cindy Schlegel, his sister Suzanne Schlegel, his brother Scott Schlegel, sister-in-law Haidee Schlegel and his beloved niece Ella “Ella-Bee” Schlegel.

He will be missed by his family, including the many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him.

To help honor Steve and his love for animals, donations can be made to SAAP (Stray Animal Adoption Program) of Cincinnati, Ohio in Steve’s name.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Miami Township Civic Center, Miami Room, from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
