Verna Mae, beloved daughter of the late Joseph B. and Goldie R. (nee Reichwein) Meyer. First cousin of Daniel (Bonnie) Meyer and Dr. Thomas (Paula) Meyer, dear friend of Bill Favret. Passed away on Monday, May 18th at the age of 86 at the Seasons Retirement Community. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service in her honor on Saturday, May 23rd at 11AM at Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church, 6312 Kennedy Ave. (45213). Ms. Meyer was a 1951 graduate of DePauw University where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She enjoyed a long career at the Taft Broadcasting Company, retiring as Corporate Treasurer. She was a longtime member of Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church and was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels. In her retirement, she enjoyed spending her winters in Naples, FL and taking special summer trips to Ontario, Canada. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church.
