MOSBACKER
Wanda B. (nee Bath), 101 years old, beloved wife of the late John R. Mosbacker, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013. She is survived by nephews Arthur C. Plate (Maureen) of Cincinnati and Roger A. Plate (Kathy) of Phoenix and was preceded in death by her sister Melva Plate and niece Marlene Richardson of Phoenix. She is also survived by grand-nephews and nieces Mindy Bower of Cincinnati, Andrew Plate of Greensboro, NC, Roger Plate, Jay Dene Richardson, Roland Richardson and Toni Patten of Phoenix, and Marvin Richardson of Colorado. In addition to her love of her husband John, Wanda's many years associated with the University of Cincinnati, in particular the Cooperative Education Department, was the focus of her life. She was a true believer in the benefit of an education which combined class work with the on-the-job experience and dedicated many years to its implementation and enhancement. She was recognized nationally as an innovator and administrator of the program and received countless awards and recognitions for her work. Wanda's lust for travel was unparalleled. She visited and toured over 100 countries and every continent. She began planning the next adventure as soon as one was concluded. Wanda was an avid bridge player and a volunteer for Elderhostel of Northern Kentucky University and Little Brothers of the Elderly. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5th from 5-7PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 6th at 10AM at the funeral home.
