Wilbeth Marie (nee Koehler)

Our mom was born on July 19, 1919 to Albert and Wilbeth Koehler from Madisonville- she was the only daughter amongst 2 brothers, Al and Don.

In may 1939, mom met our dad- William Charles Kent, Jr.- at her fathers drug store at the corner of Bramble and Whetsel Avenues.

January 17, 1941 they were married at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Mom was soon on her way with her fist son- William (Kim) . Meantime our dad enlisted and was sent overseas for 3 1/2 years. Dad came home June 1945 and soon thereafter, second child Richard (Barbara) was born in April 1946. Then came Barbara Ann (Ken), June 1950; Marian February 1956; David (Terry) October 1958 and Karen (Stephen) April 1961.

Dad died May 1989 and Mom lived on her ow from then on, Mostly at 7775 Montgomery Rd. in an apartment. In 2002 she moved to a new apartment at the complex of Twin Lakes in Montgomery. She was very happy there. In September 2013 she moved to assisted living where she died October 3, 2014.

Along the way she claimed 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
